Invasive Plants

The invasive plant we're most concerned with on Cayuga Lake is the Hydrilla (Hydrilla verticillata).  It is already present in the southern part of the lake and the DEC periodically sprays in an attempt to control the spread. More information and pictures can be found here.

Flotilla 2-2 supported DEC efforts in August 2015 by keeping boaters away from the area being treated.
